Christmas has come a little early for the Alliance For Children. Since 1992, the Tarrant County nonprofit has helped over 60,000 victims of child abuse through its investigative, healing and education services. It's continuing to help children through the holiday season by gifting them with presents during its Christmas Connection donation drive.
“Every year, hundreds of child abuse victims come through our doors at Alliance For Children,” the organization says on its website. “These are families for whom the holidays present an extra level of stress, especially in this unprecedented year. We want to help change that.”
Residents can contribute to the initiative by either donating or purchasing gifts from the Christmas Connection’s Amazon wish list. Cash donations can be made on Alliance For Children’s website and gifts can be dropped off at any of its six centers.
