WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING?
When you know that what you are doing in a small way helps to make a difference in other people’s lives, how could you not want to help? I get affirmation of the importance of what I’m doing every week when I show up to volunteer.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN VOLUNTEERING?
I’ve been a volunteer at the Christian Community Storehouse for over 10 years.
WHAT'S THE BIGGEST LESSON YOU'VE LEARNED FROM VOLUNTEERING?
That putting yourself out there knowing you are helping other people in your community is one of the the most fulfilling activities you can have in your day. Priceless!
WHY DID YOU CHOSE TO VOLUNTEER WITH COMMUNITY STOREHOUSE?
It was an easy choice. Our children are our future. To support a program that puts children in a position where they have the self confidence and the skills to be successful in life is worth the the time and effort.
FOR THOSE WISHING TO DONATE, WHAT ARE THE MOST-NEEDED ITEMS?
Canned pasta, canned soups, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese and pork and beans.

Be passionate about volunteering and make the commitment to be someone who can be counted on to be there and serve.
