Bill Webb was recognized by Dave Campbell's Texas Football as a finalist for their Community Coffee Leader of the Week Award.
For the better part of two decades, Bill Webb has been a staunch supporter of Carroll ISD Athletics, not only as a Dragon dad but as the leader of the Carroll Athletic Booster Club.
“I’ve seen the impact that athletics have had on my kids,” Bill says in a recent interview with Dave Campbell's Texas Football. “I can’t think of better heroes than our high school coaches who spend a lot of time with our kids during their formative years.”
Even though his little Dragons are all grown, Bill still devotes his time whenever and wherever it's needed in support of Carroll ISD athletics, from coaching and mentoring students to fundraising and livestreaming games. His efforts have earned him DCTF's Community Coffee Leader of the Week Award for Week 10.
“I feel like we have the best high school coaching staff in America,” Bill says. “I feel like our job is to do as much work as possible behind the scenes so they can continue to do their best for our kids.”
Southlake Carroll Head football coach Riley Dodge nominated Bill for the recognition, which was awarded to 10 community leaders across the Lone Star State.
“Bill is all about the kids and how he can serve kids and serve coaches," coach Dodge says. "He’s got a huge heart for this program and community as a whole.”
Bill is now in the running to be named Community Coffee Community Leader of the Year, and it's up to our community to decide the overall winner! Show support for Bill and Carroll Athletics by casting votes as often as you can on Dave Campbell's Texas Football's website!
