The Southlake community is coming together to help a family in need after they suffered a tremendous loss earlier last month.
On May 20, class of 2008 graduate Jason Stone passed away in Fort Worth. Born January 11, 1990, Jason loved all things Texas, spending time outdoors and playing for the varsity hockey team for all four years of high school. He and his wife Carly married in July 2019 and gave birth to twin boys Harvey and Hayes in the same month as Jason’s passing.
Because Carly now has to care for her twin boys without Jason, family friends have risen to the occasion and began a GoFundMe for the Stone family. Immediate needs are for living expenses, groceries and childcare services, while future costs will go toward Harvey and Hayes’ education.
So far, the GoFundMe campaign has raised over $65,000 from 527 donations. If you would like to help support Jason’s family, visit the campaign at GoFundMe.com.
