The Grapevine-Colleyville-Southlake Moms League is giving their 2024 black-tie gala a French twist.
On Saturday, April 6, the GCS Moms League will host their annual fundraiser at the Westin Dallas Southlake ballroom, with this year's theme being "Moulin Rouge." With over 300 North Texas mothers as part of its membership, this year's gala celebrates 30 years of the Moms League and will feature guest speakers, a live auction and a performance from Brad Thompson & The Undulating Band.
"We're trying to raise money for children in our community and at the same time, offer the community a fun night out," says gala co-chair Meg Brandon. "We know this gala is the opportunity to do both."
With last year's gala raising more than $70,000 for the Stepping Stones Foundation in Keller, the 2024 gala will benefit Christ's Haven for Children, a North Texas nonprofit dedicated to helping displaced children, teens and adults.
"As mothers, we know how important it is for children to feel cared for," co-chair Danielle Cellura says. "We want to do what we can to make that happen for all children."
