When Grant and Keaton Gwin met in high school in 2014, they connected immediately and started dating that summer. They were engaged only three years later and married in April 2018.
“Since we met each other at such a young age, we’ve had the opportunity to watch each other grow in a unique way that not everyone gets to see,” Keaton says. “We’ve seen each other through college, our professions and through parenthood. It makes us appreciate each other more after we’ve experienced so much together.”
That close bond was needed when Keaton was giving birth to their newborn Gray during the height of the pandemic last year. Keaton says she didn’t know if Grant was even going to be able to be there.
“Fast forward, my husband was there, went into full dad mode and commanded the room,” Keaton says. “We spent the next hour worshipping our Lord and breathing together through my contractions. It was our last few moments of just us two, really appreciating our time together before heading into the next season of life. That was such a special moment for us both.”
Going forward, the Gwins hope to continue to grow in their love for their family, God and one another.
“We’ve been very fortunate to experience all these milestones in life together,” Keaton says. “We can truly say that we are best friends and love doing life together through thick and thin.”
