House Of Shine is in the business of making change — that's why they're hosting their second annual Change Bowl this weekend.
On Saturday, April 6, House of Shine will once again present the Change Bowl, an annual competition where young entrepreneurs ages 8-18 present their community improvement projects to a panel of judges in the vein of "Shark Tank." Changemakers whose ideas get approved will receive funding and support to bring their vision to life.
This year's Changemakers include Grapevine High students Quinlan Voss and Lillian Cunningham, Jesuit College Preparatory student Santiago Bryce, Wayne A. Cox Elementary students Neil Siqueira and Jake Jensen and Southlake Carroll students Sarika Ramesh, Sana Naeem, Nithi Ramesh, Bronte Le, Shazia Karmali, Shaadana Rajesh, Marin Kemper and Sayesha Malhotra. They will give their presentations from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 at the Palace Arts Center, located at 300 S. Main St. in Grapevine. A reception will be held afterwards in House of Shine at 334 S. Barton St., where the funded projects will be announced.
