After an exciting preseason campaign in which he showed off his not so little size (6’4”, 22o lbs) and pass-catching ability, Lil’Jordan Humphrey has signed with the New Orleans as a member of their practice squad. As a heralded junior at the University of Texas last season Humphrey was a star wide receiver in the making as he caught 86 passes for 1,176 yards and nine scores.
Junior RB Lil' Jordan Humphrey is pacing the Dragons offense with 1,299 yards and 21 TDs heading into this week's regular season finale vs L.D.Bell.
Before realizing his NFL dreams Humphrey was dubbed the Lil’ Big Man on Campus while at Southlake Carroll. In 2014-2015 he excelled as both a running back and wide receiver. During his final two seasons as a Dragon Humphrey was an all-state selection who rushed for 3,120 yards and 43 touchdowns and caught 83 passes for 1,161 yards and 11 touchdowns.
