Operation Kindness
Operation Kindness, North Texas’ largest and original no-kill shelter, is extending a helping hand to those affected by the government shutdown.
On January 17 from 12 to 2 p.m. and January 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the organization’s Pet Food Pantry will be offering free bags of food and cat litter to local federal employees.
Those who qualify must show their federal employee identification card before they can have access to these supplies. But after that, they can walk home with the things they need to ensure local government employees can keep their pets happy and healthy.
