The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League hosted its 37th annual presentation ball on Feb. 11 — and one Southlake Carroll graduate was among the 24 debutantes.
Graduating from Southlake Carroll in 2021, Morgan Potter is a current sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin working towards her art history degree. A former Emerald Belle, Morgan was involved in several clubs and activities during her high school days, including volunteering with the National Charity League and the Miracle League. With aspirations to become an interior designer, Morgan recently completed an internship at Deadman Designs just last year and raised awareness for eating disorders through her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma.
In addition to Morgan’s debut, the presentation ball was also organized by Southlake resident Karen Cox. According to a media release, Karen’s daughter Isabella was a former debutante in 2020 and knew what to expect when planning for the ball. Funds raised from the ball went toward community outreach programs for the DSOL.
