Southlake DPS has gone viral yet again.
Last month, the City-County Communications & Marketing Association awarded the department with the first-place Savvy Award for “Best Use Of A Promotional Item” for its Southlake Policemon and Firemon cards, as well as a second-place Silver Circle Award for its Aladdin parody video “A Whole U-Turn.”
In addition to its national honors, the department also received multiple honors from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers, including first place for “Video — Educational PSA,” first place for “Marketing — Best Use Of Promotional Item,” first place for “Best Use Of Social Media'' and first place for “Video — Marketing PSA” for its George Strait tribute video.
