Southlake RoboNINJAS To Compete In 11th Annual North Texas Robotics Tournament

On Saturday, February 9, the Southlake RoboNINJAS will compete in the 11th annual North Texas FIRST LEGOⓇ League Regional Championship Robotics Tournament with nearly 600 other North Texas students. 

The tournament will take place at the Parish Episcopal School and will feature an “INTO ORBIT” theme. After qualifying rounds, 60 teams will compete on Saturday, presenting research projects, teamwork skills and robot design strategies.

Teams will also have to create and program an autonomous robot to score points in a two-and-a-half minute “mission” match on a space-themed playing field.
