Women are still leading the way, especially within the Southlake Women’s Club.
Founded in 1985, the Southlake Women’s Club is a nonprofit organization that boasts more than 150 members from around the area. Donating over $3.3 million to local charities throughout its history, the Southlake Women’s Club has organized several large-scale community events including the school supply sale, the Valentine’s Day Senior Luncheon and the award-winning Art In The Square.
While all of its programs and festivities are still on deck for 2023, this year in particular is special for the Southlake Women’s Club considering that it will mark its 38th anniversary. At 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, the Southlake Women’s Club will host a grand celebration at the Timarron Country Club in honor of their milestone. According to a media release, the door prize will include a weekend use of a Mercedes all-electric EQS Sedan along with a gourmet tailgate picnic.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at SouthlakeWomensClub.com.
