CONNOR CLAYTON
Southlake knows that America’s got talent, especially when it comes to their very own Emerald Belles. But this Friday, another “AGT” star will get his chance to shine.
Performing as a contestant on season 17 of “America’s Got Talent,” David Snyder is a pianist and composer with over 12 years of classical training. While he was eliminated during the deliberations, he continued to perform and grow his following with nearly 200,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok. Now he’s bringing his act on the road, and his next stop is in Southlake.
“The tour all started after playing piano on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ opening for Snoop Dogg and playing shows in the Bahamas,” David says in a video announcement. “My show is a funny, fast-paced, family-friendly storytelling show about how I discovered my musical voice. It includes pop, rock, funk, jazz and lots of laughs.”
The show is titled “The Piano Says It Better” and will take place on Friday, Feb. 2, at the Carroll Performing Arts Center at 1501 W. Southlake Blvd. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the Carroll High School Choir will open for the show when it starts at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. To purchase tickets or learn more, visit ThePianoSaysItBetter.com.
