Currently serving the Walnut Grove PTO as president, communitybrvolunteer Kari Mawn has served on numerous committees for her children'sbrschools. She and her husband, Chris,brwere also instrumental in starting the Dallas arm of ReserveAid. Thisbrnon-profit organization helps reservists who are deployed or recently returnedbrfrom deployment with one-off expenses such as car payments, rent, or utilitybrbills. The Mawns have not onlybrchampioned this great cause, but have chaired the dinner and auction in Dallasbrfor several years.

She also owns A+brTutoring and loves sharing her passion of learning with others.
