Creating impactful change within a community takes a village, or in the case of Young Men’s Service League of Southlake, a group of more than 200 dedicated moms and their high school-aged sons. YMSL Southlake, a local chapter of the national nonprofit, has integrated service initiatives at its core for young men and their parents, and the efforts have not gone unnoticed. At the recent Catalyst Awards event, 6 Stones recognized YMSL Southlake with the NextGen Game Changer Award, a testament to their significant contributions and commitment to serving those in need.
The NextGen Game Changer Award is a prestigious acknowledgment celebrating those who make a difference through a strategic partnership with 6 Stones. The 6 Stones team emphasized the impact the YMSL chapter made in 2023, highlighting not only the good works but also the spirit in which they were done.
"Food, backpacks, school supplies, bicycles, and Christmas gifts are all great and needed, but what this group ultimately gave was HOPE to each child and family served, which transforms lives, homes and communities," School Based Initiatives associate Nan Hoenich says.
