Carroll Robotics is once again heading to the VEX World Championship.
Every year, the VEX Robotics World Championship hosts the top 2-5% of teams from around the world to design, build and program their own robots and test them through a series of technical challenges. This year marks a significant milestone for the Dragons as it’s the 10th consecutive year they've qualified for the contest.
“One of my biggest points of pride is we’ve had at least one team compete at VEX World Championships since 2014,” Carroll robotics instructor Leah Schwedler previously told Southlake Style. “Two years ago, we had nine teams compete at Worlds, which was the most of any single organization. We have consistently had competitive teams year after year, and I’m really proud that my kids can perform at that high of a level.”
The VEX World Championships runs from April 25 to May 3 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. To learn more, visit RECF.org.
