The Carroll Robotics Program has gone national.
Last month, the top 800 high school teams from over 40 countries competed for the gold at the 2023 VEX Robotics World Championship. This year marks the ninth consecutive year Carroll Robotics had a presence at the world championship, and the first time that two teams reached the division finals, placing them among the top 0.1% of teams worldwide. Seven students even won the Judges Award for their engineering notebook and team interview.
“The incredible performance of all Dragon teams has elevated the reputation of our robotics program,” instructor Leah Schwedler says. “The future is bright for this growing CTE program.”
