The Carroll Education Foundation’s Culinary Celebration returns after a five-year hiatus this Friday.
The CEF Culinary Celebration will showcase cuisine from 20 different restaurants around the area, everything from steak, barbecue and Southern cuisine to sushi, Tex-Mex and Italian. With a “Friday Night Fever” theme, guests should come prepared in their best '70s disco attire ready to strut their stuff. The event will also have live and silent auctions, raffles and prizes such as the president’s top-shelf bar package, valued at $1,500, according to a press release.
“It’s not just about throwing a great event,” event co-chair Kali Sommer says. “It’s about supporting our children by supporting their teachers through CEF.”
The CEF Culinary Celebration will take place from 6:30-11 p.m. on Friday, April 8 at the Westin Dallas Southlake hotel. To purchase tickets or sponsorship packages, visit CarrollEducationFoundation.org.
