The Dragons 4 Dragons scholarship — which was started Carroll High School students Brett Belleville, Michael Ubis and Bryant Hargreaves, — is still accepting applications through April 17.
To apply for the scholarship, students submit 350 to 750-word essays “explaining the true meaning of being a Southlake Carroll Dragon, along with an example of how you have helped another student or your community,” according to its Facebook page.
Several $250 scholarships will be awarded to students at either the May 2 senior awards assembly or online. To submit essays, students can email their essays to the CSHS Guidance Office at Patricia.Fore@southlakecarroll.edu.
Further details about the scholarship and how to apply can be found on Naviance, and Dragons 4 Dragons is also selling t-shirts on Etsy to help fund scholarships.
