Southlake Carroll High School is currently in first place in the 6A division in the running for the UIL Lone Star Cup.
Sponsored by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, the UIL Lone Star Cup is awarded to six high schools each year and the winners are determined by their performances in the district and state championships. Winners receive the trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.
The Lady Dragons recent state championship win helped edge Southlake Carroll into first place for the cup.
