Adopted in March 2020 at 7 months old, Jaxxon quickly became a beloved member of the Norton family. Though he was born deaf, he never lets that slow him down. A labrador retriever, Jaxxon loves to fetch things, dig around in the mud and chase his fur siblings Misfit and Byron Blueberry-Kisscake Nelson. No matter where he goes, Jaxxon’s owner Alison says he always wears his “deaf dog” collar with pride. “Jaxxon is big, goofy and very playful,” Alison says. “And a loud barker, since he does not seem to understand the volume he is able to produce. We call him ‘Bob Barker.’”
