Frisco-based Code 3 Emergency Partners received approval from thebrDallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport Board to begin construction onbr1.43 acres of land in the DFW Airport Southgate Plaza Development, scheduled tobropen fall 2017. At the same time, Code 3 will also begin construction of an urgentbrcare facility and pharmacy located within DFW International Terminal D, slatedbrto open in mid to late 2017.

We knew that with over 60,000 airport-basedbrand airline employees onsite every day and over 60 million passengers travelingbrthrough the airport every year, there was a definite need for this service. The 8,125-square-footbrfacility will house a full-service emergency room including observation roomsbrfor short-term observation admissions and a separate urgent care facility. The emergencybrroom will be fully equipped with a CT scanner, ultrasound, x-ray, laboratorybrand pharmacy. The concept will be the first-ever of its kind on an airportbrproperty in the world.
