The Carroll Education Foundation kicksbroff Culinary Celebration week with lots of excitement and anticipation! Thisbryear's event promises to be one of the best with the theme "Peace, Love,brDragons." Celena Rae, from American Idol, and Scott Murray, formerly with NBC and currently a talk show radio personality, will be the celebrity hosts of the event.
A costume contest and prizes have beenbrannounced! Come dressed in your favorite 60s and 70s attire and enter thebrCostume Contest! First prize is a spa package for two, compliments of Spa onbrthe Square, second prize is a Southlake Plastic Surgery gift card forbr$200, and third prize is a dinner at Copeland's. There will also be a rafflebrfor a $1,000 shopping spree.
Guests who visit every chef at the event will be entered into a drawing for a Big Green Egg. Chef's from the following restaurants (just to name a few) will be participating: Nothing Bundt Cakes, Brio Tuscan Grille,brTruluck's Seafood Steak and Crab, Copeland's, Central Market, Rockfish, WildwoodbrAmerican Grill, Taziki's, Howard Wang, Ifratelli, and many more!
There will be a Big Board with prizes, featuring another Big Green Egg. Also on the Big Board will be a cabin on Broken Bow lake, a round of golf at Vaquero, a Smart Bronze Package and more. Don't forget the Jewelry Pull sponsored by Grayson Allen and the Wine Pull sponsored by Classic Wine Storage - where great deals will be made all night!
The Live Auction will feature a Lexus for a year from Park Place, the event's title sponsor; a wine and golf tour in California, a senior night in Dragon Stadium on Halloween in the suite!; a luxury resort home trip; a Bahamas trip from ijet; and many more exciting items! The Chef auction will include a crawfish boil from Rockfish; a dinner for 20 at Copeland's with wine and many more. The Silent Auction will feature items from Southlake Carroll PTOs, golf, sports memorabilia, boutique items and more.
Student acts will perform throughout the night, and the Wonderfuls band and a DJ from DJ Connections will also be there to keep the night groovy! Tickets are $150 per couple or $100 per person and are available online or at the door. The event starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Southlake Hilton.
