Lady Dragons dominated the 3200 and 1600 Meter Run at this weekend's 4-5A District Meet

Varsity Dragons and Lady Dragons take GOLD at District 4-5A Track & Field  Championships

The Lady Dragons andbrDragon Varsity and JV swept the District 4-5A Championship in Keller.  The top four in each event will advance tobrthe area meet in Coppell on April 19^th and compete against Districtbr3-5A.  The top four will advance to thebrRegional Meet in Lubbock on April 26^th and 27th.  The State Meet is May 10^th and 11^thin Austin.

The Lady Dragonsbrscored 183, 2^nd place went to Justin Northwest with 135, 3^rdplace, Timber Creek (92).  Sarah Robinsonbrshined at Districts by placing 1^st in her three events while KyrabrMaryland placed in both relays and High Jump. brThe Lady Dragon distance trio of Courtney Kriegshauser, Shelby Chapinbrand Antigone Archer dominated the 3200 and 1600 Meter Run. 

The Dragons scoredbr169, 2^nd place Justin Northwest (125), 3^rd place TimberbrCreek (97).  Copeland placed in his threebrevents while the distance was no surprise; Trevor Gilley, Joe Sansone andbrConnor Hendrickson advancing in the 3200 and 1600 Meter Run. 

The JV Lady Dragonsbrtake the gold with 175.33, 2^nd place with 97 points, JustinbrNorthwest, 3^rd place Keller Central with 82 points.  

The JV Dragons showedbrtheir depth with 212 points, 2^nd place went to Timber Creek (88), 3^rdplace Keller (82).  Holden Taylor grabbedbrtwo 1^st place finishes and 3^rd in the High Jump.  Grant McFarlin placed 1^st in thebr100 Meter Dash and 3^rd in his Long Jump and Triple Jump.
