Southlake Carroll Cross Country Seniors
The Southlake Carroll Cross Country Boys and Girls teamsbrwill compete at the Texas Regional meet in Lubbock, Texas this Saturday,brNovember 3rd. The top threebrteams of each region advance and the top ten runners qualify individually.
“The District meet went well,” said Southlake Carroll's HeadbrCoach Justin Leonard. “We are so proud of all of our runners, especially thebrseniors who ran their last race yesterday. brThe varsity teams achieved the goal which was to run controlled andbrqualify for the Regional meet.”
The Lady Dragons take five of the top ten qualifying spotsbrand finish with impressive 25-team points. brSecond place, Justin Northwest followed with 47 points and Timber Creekbradvances to the Regional meet with 92 points.
The Dragon Boys shows their strength by placing six of sevenbrrunners in the top ten Regional qualifying positions and scoring 17brpoints. Timber Creek Boys grab 2ndwith 60 points and Keller Boys, 82 points, and will be competing in Lubbock,brTexas, November 3rd.
The JV Boys and Girls teams also had a strong 1st place finish and tallied a perfect score of 15.
