Cheers, chants and cowbells! Everyone knows the Dragon home-field advantage comes from the fans. The rowdiest fans are front and center at the 50-yard line, where the juniors and seniors of Carroll Senior High School have posted up to cheer their team to victory.
To up the atmosphere this year, the Carroll Athletic Department has expanded the student section beyond just one section. Starting with this season’s home opener on Aug. 25, the student section expands westward to include high school and middle school students. In all, three sections from the 10-yard line to the 50-yard line will now house the Dragon’s school-aged fans.
“We believe this will create an awesome atmosphere for our students and athletes, as well as centralize our students in the stadium for our admin team,” says the department in a media release.
