In a 6-4 loss, the Dragons dropped the last game of the regional finals to Keller, ending the road to state and their season.
In the first game of the three-game series against Keller in the regional finals, the Dragons narrowly lost 2-1. But the team battled back defiantly and won the second game 11-1.
And in the third game, the Dragons had six hits on the night, with Max Reyes going 2 for 3 with a double and players Ryan Pehrson and Gunnar Krug each recording a single. But Keller’s offense was ultimately too much for the Dragons to overcome.
Though the team lost, this was the fourth season in a row that Dragon Baseball played games after graduation.
