This past weekend Dragon Water Polo competed at the TISCAA State Championship in Lewisville. Lady Dragons brought home the third-place banner to be hung in the Carroll Aquatic Center. This marks the third consecutive year the Lady Dragons have placed at state. This year they were the only North Texas girls' team to advance to the semi finals.
The boys' team ended the tournament in fourth place after losing their last two games in the final seconds against Flower Mound and Jersey Village. In addition to their team awards, several Dragons were selected to the All-State teams.
