On May 17, Electronic Arts revealed the covers of EA SPORTS™ College Football 25 , which features Texas Longhorn QB Quinn Ewers along with Michigan RB Donovan Edwards and Colorado WR/DB Travis Hunter. The highly anticipated game will be officially available worldwide on July 19, 2024.
Southlake Carroll football fans have a new reason to beam with Dragon Pride. Former standout quarterback Quinn Ewers is now gracing the cover of the latest installment of highly popular football video games from the makers of Madden NFL, Electronic Arts (EA).
Today, EA revealed the covers of "EA SPORTS™ College Football 25," which features Ewers along with Michigan running back Donovan Edwards and Colorado wide receiver and defensive back Travis Hunter. The highly coveted trio of athletes adds an exclamation point for fans of EA’s explosive gameplay that will include the immersive atmosphere of 134 FBS schools when the game is officially available worldwide on July 19.
All the cover stars built enviable resumes last season, but most eyes have been on Ewers since the 5-star high schooler made the choice to forgo his senior season with the Dragons to play at Ohio State. This bold move set a precedent, as doors began to open for future athletes to benefit from their talents even before reaching the professional leagues.
Last season as a Heisman hopeful, Ewers led the Longhorns to a 12-2 record and a Big 12 Championship as he threw for 3,479 yards and 22 touchdowns while achieving a 158.6 QB Rating. Arguably the nation’s top collegiate quarterback and a lifelong Texas Longhorn fan, Ewers is making the most of his time in Austin.
“To represent the burnt orange on the real and virtual gridirons is such an honor. EA Sports games were the first place I lived out my childhood dream of playing for the Longhorns, so it’s a full-circle moment to now be on the cover of 'College Football 25,'” Ewers says.
