The Lady Dragon water polo team became a state finalist in just its second year as a UIL program.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, the Lady Dragons headed to San Antonio to compete in the 6A state tournament. After defeating Clute Brazoswood 8-5 in the semifinals, the Lady Dragons advanced to the finals where they faced off against Richmond Foster. While the Lady Dragons lost 11-8, they still finished the state meet in second place and secured a 23-2 overall record for the season.
