On Wednesday, Feb. 21, the Dragon Touchdown Club hosted Dragon Youth Football supporters and their guests at The Bowden in Keller. The club welcomed Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy as the keynote speaker, and after everyone enjoyed a catered lunch, awards were handed out to Southlake Carroll coaches.
According to a media release, James Jeffrey won flag football coach of the year, while Ryan Aldridge won tackle coach of the year. Scott Tucker won Lady Dragon coach of the year, while Josh Raulerson won sub-varsity assistant coach of the year. Lee Munn won varsity assistant coach of the year, while Joe Gonzalez won middle school coach of the year. Finally, Mike Noel won the highly-coveted Bob Ledbetter Dragon of the Year award.
