The Lady Dragons are your 2021 Area Champions. After defeating El Paso Americas 58-27, the team heads to the region quarterfinals for the first time in seven years.
The Dragon defense was working hard during the game against El Paso Americas, holding them to less than 30 points. During the regular season, the girls basketball team also held 14 opponents to 30 points or less, proving their defensive might.
Looking ahead, the next playoff game will be against the winner of Tuesday’s game between Timber Creek and Frenship. The Dragons currently have a 22-6 record this season and hope to continue adding to their winning streak as the playoffs continue.
