On Wednesday, March 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. , the city held a celebration to honor the Southlake Carroll swim and dive teams at the Southlake Town Square after both the boys and girls team won the state championship. This was the ninth-consecutive state championship for the boys team and the girls team scored the highest team score ever recorded at their UIL classification at 298. The last time both teams took first place together was 2012 and 2013.
