Art Reception & Exhibit: Bright-hearted | Colie Ryan

Emerging Fort Worth-based artist Colie (pronounced coal-ee) Ryan has been selected to exhibit her artwork this summer at Elm Street Studio in Keller. Her “Bright-hearted” series of landscape oil paintings are fresh and dynamically textured with a minimalist and modern bent. As a self-taught artist, Colie uses palette knives exclusively to create sharp lines, pops of bright color, and dimension. A portion of all art sale proceeds will benefit Community Storehouse, a Northwest Tarrant County charity organization dedicated to the education and well-being of low-income children in our community.
