Fans of Downton Abbey are invited to an exclusive showing of the new movie on Friday, September 20, 2019 starting at 6PM. There will prizes and giveaways at the showing. There will be a "Best Dressed Contest" for movie goers wearing their Downton Abbey attire. Fans of the hit TV series "Downton Abbey" are invited to an exclusive showing of the new movie on Friday, September 20, 2019, starting at 6 p.m. And courtesy of Celebrity Cruises and Southlake Travel there will prizes and giveaways at the showing. There will be a "Best Dressed Contest" for movie goers wearing their Downton Abbey Sunday best. Attendees will also receive a Downton Abbey "Swag Bag" with delectable goodies & accessories. Tickets are $15 per person and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The much-anticipated movie spin-off of the hit TV series will feature the Crawley family girding themselves for a royal visit. While little of the plot has been given away, the story is known to take place in 1927, a couple of years after the end of the TV series, and centers on the royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Downton Abbey. The trailer shows the Crawley family and their army of servants preparing for the unexpected visit, which prompts Lady Mary to ask retired head butler, Carson, to return to the estate.
