The LOT Downtown, the outdoor gathering space for live entertainment, performing arts and community events in Mansfield, is excited to be the location for the upcoming FREEDOM FEST by Klein Tools on Sept. 11, 2022. Organized by multiple community organizations and individuals, the purpose of FREEDOM FEST is to commemorate 9/11 and honor the example of the bravery by first responders, police, fire and military face while celebrating unity within the community of Mansfield.

Kicking off at 4 pm - 9 pm, the event features live music, games, and more designed for the whole family including performances from The Josh Weathers Band, September Moon and Kate Watson. A special presentation of colors by the Mansfield Police and Fire departments is also scheduled. Guests will enjoy a kids zone with fun activities including a bounce house, arts and crafts and face painting, a Cornhole Tournament organized by Cornhole 4 Community and shopping from local vendors. Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs and blankets and enjoy the local Downtown Mansfield food trucks at the event. However, outside coolers are not permitted as beer and wine will be sold at the event. Proceeds from Freedom Fest will be donated to The LOT Downtown, Citizen’s Police Academy, Citizen’s Fire Academy, Mansfield Veterans Memorial and Tribute Foundation.
