Stories of Iwo Jima

In early 1945, a little known extinct volcano on a Pacific island became an iconic battle site in the war against Japan. The U.S. Marines won that battle but at a great cost of lives. That island was Iwo Jima. Today, few men who landed at that beachhead and survived some of the war’s fiercest fighting are still here to tell their story. Don Graves is one of those men and now you have an opportunity to meet him and hear his first-hand account of the Battle of Iwo Jima.
