Winter Solstice Sunrise Celebration
Revel in the start of the season with a morning of science. The Perot Museum is hosting a Winter Solstice Sunrise Celebration on Friday starting at 6 a.m. With a yoga session surrounded by dinosaurs, a sound-centered experience using singing bowls and other instruments in the Gems and Minerals Hall and a dance party in the museum’s lobby, there will be plenty of fun to be had while celebrating the solstice.

If your kids are tired of the colder weather, treat them to a day at the waterpark by heading over to Epic Waters in Grand Prairie. On Saturday at 8 a.m., the indoor facility is hosting Breakfast With Santa for all of their visitors. Kids can enjoy a meet and greet with the big guy and a breakfast buffet all while splashing away in the park.
