Southlake Carroll vs. Keller Timber Creek
Come support the Dragons during their final district game of the season as they take on Keller Timber Creek at home this Friday. At 7 p.m., the varsity team will fight to keep their undefeated title as they head into postseason. And because it's the last game of the season, they will honor their graduating players as part of their senior night celebration. It'll be a game you won't want to miss.
Dallas Arboretum's Veterans Day Weekend
In honor of Veterans Day, the Dallas Arboretum will be issuing complimentary admission all weekend to active duty and retired military personnel – with valid military ID. They will also have live music Saturday and Sunday afternoons, not to mention their beautiful Autumn at the Arboretum displays. So there's plenty of reason to come out and enjoy their exhibits this weekend.
ICE! Featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
The coolest Christmas exhibit is back. Starting this Friday, locals can come out and enjoy the wonders of ICE! Featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at Gaylord Texan Hotel. The 17,300-square-foot display is made up of two million pounds of ice and tons of beautiful holiday scenes. ICE! sill be open until January 1, so if you can't make it out on opening weekend, there's still time to enjoy the holiday spectacle.
If you are a firm believer of no Christmas celebrations until after Thanksgiving, keep the autumn celebrations rolling at Fall Fest at Glade Parks. On Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m., Glade Parks will host a free family-friendly event including live music, games, face painting, balloon art and much more! They will also be offering giveaways to the district's shops, restaurants and entertainment destinations, so everyone can leave with something that will make them happy. Apex presents “Hansel and Gretel”
See one of your favorite childhood stories come to life as Apex presents “Hansel and Gretel” at The Marq. The 2 p.m. production will bring the fairy tale to life, with the help of the Fort Worth Opera. It's a great way to introduce your kids to the arts while also letting them enjoy a classic story that they will remember for years to come.
