There's no time at the Dallas Arboretum like the fall. While its still full of beautiful blooms, the 13th annual Dallas for Autumn at the Arboretum will be full of pumpkins, gourds and squashes galore.
From September 22 to November 21, locals and travelers alike will head over to east Dallas to take in the beautiful scenes set with pumpkins. Now people expect a little more whimsy with their 2018 theme: “The Adventures of Neverland.”
“Known for amazing and creative displays, our 50-member horticulture team is creating an amazing Pumpkin Village display where more than 250,000 people will visit during Autumn at the Arboretum," Dave Forehand, Dallas Arboretum's vice president of gardens, says via press release.
The sets will use more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, squash, cornstalks and hay bale mazes to transport people as they walk around the Pumpkin Village. Here they will start their journey in London at the Darling house where Wendy and her brothers are getting ready for bed. Guests can then hit the stops including the Lost Boys hideout that show Peter Pan talking with the Darling children, Captain Hook's pirate ship passing by the crocodile Tick-Tock and Tinker Bell's house where she does all of her at-home magic.
There will be events happening all fall – like their Harvest Teas and Mommy and Me Mondays, so there are plenty of reasons to come out and take part in the fun.
