
St. Patrick's Day is back, and the Metroplex could not be more excited. Hot spots all over town are hosting festive events to celebrate. So make sure you are a part of the fun! Here are 17 places you can join in on the festivities this year.
Barnes & Noble – Southlake Town Square
Spend the morning with your family at the Southlake Town Square's Barnes & Noble. This very special story time event will walk you through the tale of The Gingerbread Man and the Leprechaun Loose at School. Watch as a mischievous leprechaun wreaks havoc at school and Gingerbread Man swoops in to save the day. Lots of festive activities are to follow, so there are lots of reasons to come out for the morning of festive reading.
Get the whole family involved in the holiday by stopping by Board & Brush Colleyville for their St. Patrick's Day Workshop. Guests will create their own wood pieces from Board & Brush's gallery of more than 100 designs. They provide all the materials and will walk you through each step to create your masterpiece. Spots are limited, so make sure you reserve yours soon.
Celebrate Irish heritage and dishes at Central Market's St. Patrick's Day Dinner. Locals can come out to the Southlake location to enjoy Irish beer, Upscale Fish & Chips, Stout Braised Short Ribs, Colcannon Potatoes, Soda Bread with Irish Butter and Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce. Central Market's School Instructor, Debra Stuits will lead the day full of green fun.
No one does St. Patrick's Day quite like Greenville Avenue. Come out to be a part of the 39th St. Patrick's Parade and Festival. This is the largest St. Patrick's Day in the Southwest, starting at Blackwell Street and ending on SMU Boulevard. After the 90 float entries make their way through the two-mile route, head over to the festival for some drinks and block-party excitement.
The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District will host Cowtown Goes Green, the city's largest and most family-friendly St. Patrick's Day celebration in town. There will be friendly of activities for the kids including face painting, live music, cow camp and more. There will also be an Irish-themed Cowtown Goes Green parade that follows the 4 p.m. cattle drive. So venture west to make some boot scootin' memories.
Four Seasons Resort and Club Las Colinas
Get a jump-start on the celebrating by stopping by Four Seasons Resort and Club for their Legal Draft Brewery Beer Dinner. The five-course meal kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and includes a special menu curated by executive chef Christof Syre and chef de cuisine Johan Van Niekerk. These dishes will go perfectly with the holiday-inspired beers. And, everyone will walk away with a bit more education on the local collection.
Grapevine Main Street Tasting Rooms
For a boozier version of the holiday, head over to Grapevine's Main Street to experience the St. Patrick's Day Wine Trail. Guests will receive three wine tastings at the six participating wineries – Homestead Winery, Grapevine Springs Winery, Umbra Winery, Cross Timbers Winery and Sloan and Williams Winery – on top of a food item at each location.
Jump on the party train by coming out to the Grapevine Cotton Belt Railroad District for the Kiss Me I'm Irish Express. The two-hour venture includes two craft brews, heavy Irish-style hors d'oeuvres and a souvenir beer mug. Plus, there will be additional beers available for purchase. The train leaves at 7 p.m. sharp, so make sure to arrive early with your party to claim your spots.
J. Gilligan's 39th Annual St. Patrick's Day Block Party
Irish nachos, whiskey and beer – oh my! Come out to J. Gilligan's 39th Annual St. Patrick's Day Block Party for a day full of food, drinks and music. Bands include Don Mcloud Bagpipes, Stingrays, Jay-B & The Zydeco, Moring People and many more. The trip over to Arlington is well worth the fun that awaits.
McKinney St. Patrick's Day Festival & Shamrock Run
For a family-friendly free event, head over to McKinney for their St. Patrick's Day Festival. The day kicks off with a 5K run that starts and finishes in front of TUPPS Brewery located at the historic McKinney Cotton Mill. After crossing the finish line and grabbing a pint, you can check out the event's kids play zone, boutiques, artisans, photo booth, food vendors and wine garden.

Experience the luck of the Irish with great food, beverages and entertainment in the heart of Rockefeller Center at The Sea Grill. Make your own unique beer glass at Vetro Glassblowing & Fine Art Gallery's St. Patrick Day – Hot Glass, Cold Brew event. On March 3 and 10, locals can come out and create their own pint. Choose from the six pre-selected mixes, apply the colors to the glass and watch as the piece transforms in the 2,000-degree furnace. The workshop includes two complimentary servings of beer and light snacks.
