Central Market is celebrating Hispanic heritage this month.
From Sept. 14 to Oct. 11, the grocery store will feature a variety of Hispanic-owned wines, cheeses and other gourmet offerings. Noteworthy brands include Mexico’s first boutique winery, Monte Xanic, Chorizo de San Manuel from Rio Grande Valley and La Newyorkina, a woman-owned paleta and ice cream brand exclusive to Central Market. You can also sign up for a variety of exclusive cooking classes, whether it’s chef Adán Medrano’s indigenous foods class on Sept. 19 or Houston top chef Evelyn Garcia's on Oct. 6.
