If you are not going on vacation this spring break, you can still pretend you’re in the tropics with Central Market’s new event. From March 6 to the 19, all Central Market locations will be showcasing tropical flavors with their “Taste of the Tropics” event.
Stores will be stocked with a variety of tropical fruits from mangos and papaya to star fruit and coconuts. The meat and seafood sections of all Central Market stores will also part of this event as customers can purchase tropically marinated and seasoned items.
There will even be tropical alcohol with Larry’s Latest Flamingo Fruit Flight Ale, which is brewed with passionfruit and lime zest. If customers would like to learn more about tropical flavors, they can sign up for one of Central Market’s themed cooking classes being put on as part of this event.
