A wide range of Fort Worth’s luxury retail, restaurants and entertainment amenities all fall in The Shops at Clearfork. The mixed-use development is full of premium brands, dining opportunities and scurrying couples hoping to make their reservations and enjoy themselves while out on the town. It’s also home to a wide range of European favorites. Everything from superb cheeses and wine to picturesque soufflés and gelato fill the center’s blocks. So if you’re hoping to plan a worldly date for your special someone this month – without booking plane tickets or running across the Metroplex – saunter over to Clearfork.
The center continues to add on new attractions, so it may be hard to determine how to schedule out your evening. We’ve selected a few hot spots sure to make for a romantic night out.
Cru WIne Bar
Start the night with a quality glass of wine in hand at CRÚ. The wine bar provides a warm environment perfect for intimate conversations. Guests can order drinks by the glass, pop open one of their hundreds of bottles or sample a few of their selections in a flight. Each flight includes three varieties in two-ounce pours, perfect for those looking for something new or interested in trying a few of their offerings. Pair it with an artisan cheese flight, like their Around the World boasting sheep cheese from Spain, goat cheese from Vermont and gouda from the Netherlands, to keep everyone happy until venturing onto your next stop.
Rise No. 3
Enjoy a French favorite without the fuss at Rise No. 3. The soufflé concept, which also has locations in Dallas and Houston, brings the pleasure of the technical dish to their diners with flare. First try their celebrated Marshmallow Soup, a savory starter that gets its name from the goat cheese that tops the creamy dish, to warm up before moving onto their main attraction. With everything from Escargot to Smoked Salmon to Truffle Infused Mushroom savory soufflés, there’s a sophisticated option waiting for people of all tastes. The bistro also features an array of wine options including flights, so you can keep the tasting concept going throughout the night. If you are planning your night out in advance, book your reservation on Rise’s website – you can reserve your table up to a month prior to your date.
Amorino Fort Worth
If you don’t indulge on one of Rise’s sweet soufflés for dessert, a short walk down the block will bring you to Amorino Fort Worth. This Paris-based gelato shop stands out not only because of their rich authentic sweets but also because of their intricate presentation. Their staff individually shapes their gelato into layered roses creating a treat that’s almost too beautiful to eat. They also offer 10 flavors of hot chocolate, an assortment of macarons – which can also act as a topping on your gelato flower, crapes, waffles, espresso drinks and much more. It’s a great place to grab a treat and spend a few more minutes enjoying each other’s company before heading back
