We are just a few days away from the first- ever FÜDTRUKY (food • truck • ee ), a day full of FÜD ( good • food ), TÜNs ( rockin' • tunes ) and BRÜs (beer), sponsored by Hays Financial Strategies & Meyer Tax Consulting. On May 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Southlake Style is bringing some of the Metroplex’s best food trucks to The Marq’s Aria Amphitheater for a day full of mouthwatering grub, live music and festival games. Before heading out, make sure you know what to expect at FÜDTRUKY.
Before the FÜD
Buy your tickets online here to reserve your spot at this year’s event. After checking out, print the confirmation email and bring it with you the day of the event to present it at the gate. You will also be able to redeem any FÜDTRUKY hats and T-shirts you purchased online. To request a refund, email Ashley@southlakestyle.com before Wednesday, April 25. The event will take place rain or shine, we will not offer refunds the day of. Event parking is free at The Marq and Bicentennial Park.
Enjoying the FÜD
Local food trucks will be ready to serve up delicious treats as soon as the gates open. Food vendors include Sandwiches Around the World, Easy Slider, Hoang's Noodle House, Holy Frijole, Pokey O's, SkewU, Steel City Pops and Summer Moon Coffee. After grabbing a bite and a BRÜ from the beer table – local craft breweries will be represented, prepare yourself for a day full of fun. The Dan Quinn Band will perform at 12 p.m. Soon after, the FÜDTRUKY Yard Pong Tournament will begin at 1 p.m. Then, DJ KB will take the stage at 2 p.m. followed by the School of Rock House Band at 4:30 p.m. Last call for beer will hit at 6:15 p.m. and the event will close at 6:30 p.m. There will truly be something for everyone.
After the FÜD
All of the event's ticket sales, a percentage of concession sales and merchandise, which are now available here, will be donated to GRACE. Our goal is to raise $10,000, which would provide 3,500 nutritious lunches for area children through the “Feed Our Kids” program.
Get ready to enjoy FÜD, BRÜs and TÜNs all day long this Saturday. It's sure to be the tastiest event of the year.
