February is the month of chocolate, and that is extremely clear at Central Market’s Chocolate Festival, running now until February 14.
To show off their sweet stuff, North Texas locations will participate in their annual Chocolate Stroll on Thursday, February 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The aisles of their stores will be transformed to display some of the world's most avant-garde chocolate items on top of your classic, crowd-pleasing favorites. There will be more than 15 tasting stations throughout the store along with a brief chocolate education, cooking demos, recipe tips and much more available.
Their healthier options like their Strawberry, Fennel and Arugula Salad with Cacao Nibs might peak your interest. Or, you can go straight for Indulge Popcorns that come in three chocolate flavors. Don't forget to try out their Red Wine Hot Chocolate. It's sure to warm up the rest of your cold winter nights.
Some of the more unique options available include their Mole Poblano Seasoned Pork, Chicken and Turkey – which will be sold as “ready-to-cook” items in oven-capable trays, Brownie Batter Dessert Hummus – a healthy yet sweet dip made with chickpeas, Tucson Tamale Chocolate Cherry Tamales – a handmade tamale brand exclusively carried by Central Market, and New-Lewis Road Creamery Chocolate Butter – made with an Italian butter churn and New Zealand local milk.
Get your sweet tooth ready to dive into some decadent chocolate.
