For over 80 years, National Donut Day has provided the country with delectable delights into every bite of a freshly fried donut. Whether you’re into specialty flavors such as strawberry or maple, the sweet delicacy of chocolate cake or simply into the classic yeast, there’s a donut for every person out there.
The Metroplex itself is no stranger to donuts as there are literally dozens of donut places to choose from. While chains such as Dunkin’ offer free classic donuts along with the purchase of a drink, other places such as Krispy Kreme are giving them away for free for National Donut Day on Friday, June 7.
While these sweet staples are not to miss, there are several donut places specific to this area, and we don’t want you to miss out on them. Check out our roundup on some of the most unique donut shops DFW has to offer.
