Birria beef is coming to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop menu for a limited time.
A traditional meat stew from the Mexican state of Jalisco, birria is slow-cooked in a broth filled with garlic, herbs, dried chiles and other spices for a bold and savory flavor. For one month, Fuzzy’s will offer its own take on the famous Mexican meat offering across three different entrees.
The Quesabirria Tacos come loaded with shredded beef barbacoa, cheddar Jack cheese, diced onions and cilantro, along with a side of birria sauce for dipping. For those who want to be tortilla-less, the Birria Bowl covers a base of cilantro-lime rice with birria beef barbacoa, black beans, shredded cheddar Jack cheese, cilantro-lime crema, pickled red onions, cilantro and seasoned tortilla crisps. For a twist on the typical American-Mexican appetizer, the chips & queso with birria beef consists of Fuzzy’s famous queso with fresh pico de gallo and a side of seasoned chips.
Guests can try Fuzzy’s take on birria beef through Nov. 19.
