With the tagline “Share Pie, Share Love,” Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop’s time-honored recipes can be found in nearby Colleyville and are the perfect way to wind down your Thanksgiving meal with family and friends.
Passed down for generations, the national franchise’s version of Granny’s Apple Pie harkens back to a simpler time when food was homemade and shared around the table. Pie can be a highway to your heart with Buttermilk’s decadent I-40 pie. This fan-favorite, named after the highway that runs through the U.S. heartland, features a smooth pecan filling, chocolate chips and a sprinkle of toasted coconut combined in a sweet shortbread crust.
If you like chocolate chess pie, their fresh take on this favorite blends layers of chocolate, caramel and pecans in a shortbread crust that make up their rich Caramel Turtle Pie.
The owners, Jason and Sheila Ridley, have been serving up Buttermilk Sky’s delights since they bought into the franchise last year.
“Community is very important to us. What better way to share love than by sharing pie? This is going to be the most delicious way to support our community,” they said.
With a wide range of flavors, 4-inch personal sizes and gluten-free options, this shop has everything you need to keep the entire family happy — as long as you order online by Nov. 14 for early pickup at the Colleyville location.
